You'll then travel to Arequipa, known as the "White City," with its impressive colonial architecture, before immersing yourself in the majesty of the Colca Canyon, home of the majestic condors. Your journey continues to Cusco, the ancient Inca capital, where the cobbled streets tell stories of a glorious past. From here, you'll visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where the fortress of Ollantaytambo stands as a testament to the Inca's architectural ingenuity. The highlight of your adventure will be visiting Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, where you will be blown away by the impressive scenery and rich history. Finally, you will head to Puno, located on the shores of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. There you will explore the floating Uros Islands, built entirely of reeds, and Isla Taquile, where ancient traditions remain alive. NEW MACHU PICCHU REGULATIONS
Please be advised that new regulations are in place for all visitors to Machu Picchu, requiring that various tours be completed within the site to reduce overcrowding.
Tickets for these tours are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Peak season: The peak tourist season (April to October) is the time of year when most tourists visit Machu Picchu. Therefore, it is necessary to book the Inca Trail at least 4 months in advance and subject to availability.

MIX TRIP Please be advised that this tour involves combining activities with other travellers. Therefore, you may share the tour with staff and other travellers.All travellers are required to pay a tax on domestic flights in Peru, while foreign travellers are exempt from this requirement.

YELLOW FEBER
Upon entering the country you are visiting, you may be required to present a yellow fever certificate. We advise you to consult your local health professional about yellow fever and other vaccinations required for this area. -
WET SEASON
Please be advised that the railway line may be partially closed during heavy rainfall (January - April) due to the rainy season.
Peru's protocols may require proof of dual vaccination against COVD-19 to board domestic flights and trains, as well as to access restaurants, museums and attractions.

Daily itinerary

You have time to explore the city on your own, but
please don't forget to arrive on time for the Servus welcome meeting, where you will meet your
tour guide and your travel companions. After the welcome meeting,
your tour guide will explain all the details of your trip. However, if you arrive earlier,
luggage storage is usually available. At our starting hotel, the hotel's check-in time applies.

Optional activities: Visit to a water park

Start your day in the Plaza de Armas, surrounded by cafes with the majestic Cathedral in the background. Visit the Museum of Andean Sanctuaries, which houses the famous Inca mummy “Juanita”, or explore the Santa Catalina Convent, a former convent full of stories and secrets, known for the luxurious lifestyle of its nuns in the past.

On the way you will see llamas, alpacas and vicuñas - how can you tell these adorable animals apart? Your guide will explain the differences between these animals. We will also stop to take breaks, take photos and try the local coca tea, which helps to cope with the altitude. The third stop will take you to the highest point of the tour in Patapampa (4,800 m above sea level), take a break in the town and then visit the hot water spring.
From here you can either spend the evening with a bath in the hot springs, a llama steak in a nearby restaurant before driving down to your destination Chivay.
Enjoy your lunch or end the day with live Andean music and dance show in a peña (bar).

you can marvel at the majestic Andean condor, the king of the skies, in its impressive flight over the
morning updrafts. A breathtaking scenery unfolds before you:
picturesque villages, ancient terraced fields and the majestic peaks of the Chivay mountains. The
Colca Canyon, twice as deep as the Grand Canyon, not only offers spectacular views, but
also tells stories of millennia-old cultivation by the locals.
This place is home to the mighty Andean condor, one of the largest flying birds in the world.
Enjoy an unforgettable sight from one of the best viewpoints in the canyon as the
condor circles over the deep gorges.
After this unforgettable experience in the Colca Canyon, we make our way back to
Arequipa. In the evening we will travel comfortably by bus to Puno.

Bus ride: 10:15 p.m., 7 hours 30'.

Explore the city of Puno on your own and
visit the Kuntur Wasi viewpoint, from where you can observe the beauty and splendor of
Lake Titicaca.
